Replacement of rail structure lower gates Parksluizen

In the course of last year, we were instructed to replace the rail structures in the lower gates of Parksluizen in Rotterdam. The client, Dimco (formerly known as Geka Bouw) is working on a general renovation of the Parksluizen on the instruction of the Rotterdam authorities, to give these locks a new lease of life. In 2016 the Rotterdam authorities instructed the same joint venture to renovate the upper gates.

Our work mainly consists of manufacturing and assembling the new movements, being a rail structure and carriages, on which the lock gates move about, on the bottom of the scour hole and gate recesses.
